Main Idea: Playing Badminton can cause injuries to athletes in their wrist, elbow, shoulder, knee, and ankle due to its overuse.

Supporting details:

  1. A poor backhand technique where the player has a soft or bent wrist can cause tennis elbow which is a generic term for pain outside the elbow and known as lateral epicondylitis.
  2. Jumper’s knee or patellar tendonitis is an overuse injury that results in pain at the front of the knee, localized at a point towards the bottom of the kneecap. Repetitive strain from too much running or jumping causes inflammation or degeneration of the patella tendon.
